Thrust bearings

Thrust bearings carry load along the shaft rather than across it. Thrust ball bearings handle light to moderate axial loads; cylindrical, tapered and spherical roller thrust bearings take heavy axial and shock loads; needle thrust bearings fit thin spaces with washers.
